daniel reinard
Why is it that last man standing events don't count for records? Because there is no limit on the number of attempts taken. The NAGS limit is 4 attempts.
bwwm
This contest sounds like a fun way to find out where you are on a number of different lifts in a short amount of time.
Cannon
They are a great equalizer. The decathlon WILL find your weaknesses.
Eric Roussin
I've informed some Minneapolis area armwrestlers about this event and a few will be taking part in the Grip Decathlon. They will also be bringing an armwrestling table to the event, and if time permits, anyone interested in getting some practice pulls in, or just learning about armwrestling, will have the opportunity to do so after the Decathlon. Thank you Adam for accommodating this!
bwwm
... and don't go full out on the AW if you haven't been doing it before. My arms/shoulder is still a bit tweaked just from 80/90% effort after the IPP. It's a heck of a lot of fun though!!!
Cannon
I am a total mess and doubt I will make this comp. Training at a standstill, injuries abound, and my back has almost never been worse. I believe I reinjured my disc in the axle pull at the last comp. Numbness and shooting pains in the right leg and plenty of discomfort down the left. Bah. Eric Roussin
If you live in Minneapolis, you should come out just for the atmosphere. A large turnout is expected. I know of five armwrestlers who will be competing in the decathlon.
