daniel reinard
Thanks Matt, Ross, and John. I may have a set of old style york plates very soon. Then we can go head to head (well as much as my weak butt can against Jedd) on the same plates for the same glorious goal. Stay tuned y'all. Jedd Johnson
Still training hard at this at least twice per week. It is a very hard feat right now, but I know I can get it. I think when I get this, my overall hand strength will be crazy. The reason I say that is because it still feels very far off and the strength increases I will have when I lift these will make a lot of other feats easier. Thanks for following along everyone. daniel reinard
Jedd, you seeing 2HP carryover? Great work man. That feat is going to happen.

Jedd Johnson
Jedd, you seeing 2HP carryover? Great work man. That feat is going to happen. Maybe. Like I said, somewhere, not sure where, I broke 250 off the ground on 2HP a few inches. I usually top out at 235. I don't know why, that's just how it's been the last couple years. I am hoping it helps a lot - that is part of the reason I wanted to gun for this a while.

Do you mean that even while setting your 120kg+ world records, you typically can't budge more than 235 in training?

I was driving over and training with jedd once a month or so. his pinch is not that impresive in training. and, it's not like the comp setup is supperior since we're usually using his plates when he has set new records. Cannon
That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. To gain 30+ at a comp when you're already at that level.

Do you mean that even while setting your 120kg+ world records, you typically can't budge more than 235 in training? Yes. Brent is right. I have stated it many times on my blog, I am always happy to be around 250 in training ecstatic actually. In my DVD, Road to the Record, I was rarely over 210/220 in training. I don't know how you guys are constantly hitting near-comp numbers in training. That kind of stuff drives me freakin' crazy.
