Deadlifts were feeling light and fast, ready for the next 3 weeks. My first priority is dropping weight though. Has been for a while, I've just been doing a horrible job. I'm down about 6 lbs now, in the last few weeks.

Because of my back, I really haven't done any stone work an a couple years, seems crazy that it's been that long. Anyway, the stone was light, but it still felt good to do it.

Took a chance on a gym that claimed to be hardcore. It was kinda like the SportsCenter (R.I.P.) but very dark, filthy, smellier, a more random collection of old equipment, an Octagon MMA cage, no A/C - it was 97 deg today.

The bench and bar was possibly the worst combo I've ever used. The actual bench pad wasn't perpendicular to the uprights so unracking the bar was tricky. The bar was chrome, bent, thin, and really old. This was the better of the 2 benches/bars. I was disappointed, but I kinda liked the atmosphere. If they just had a couple nice bars, 1 decent bench, and a better squat rack it would actually be a cool place.

Yea it closed a few months ago. Not sure where Dak Bar went. I think they got a garage or storage unit somewhere.

Left shoulder is beat up, but the slingshot helps a ton. Without that, I probably couldn't have benched today. Have to work harder on getting the shoulder healthy though.
