Just testing out an idea. Reply with your vote and your handedness, too.

I always pull left under, right over.

Frank

rotate your grip on your pulls. Nothing wrong with a pet set for max pulls (I always pul left reverse when at max) but hundreds of reps with out a balance will cause you grief in your upper back.

I´m right handed (sort of, I do some things with my left hand as easy as with my right) and I pull with left hand over, right hand under.

Righthanded, left over, right under for my heavy DLs and all Sumo DLs (my comp lift).

For other versions I start DO and switch to mixed grip when necessary.

Left under, right over I do use for heavy shrugs whereas I used wrist straps in the past.

The past year or so I started pulling DO until near failure then switch to right over and I'm right handed. I picked up a tweak in my left lower back that I attribute to the imbalance of me always pulling right over previously.

usually your stronger hand is your "over" hand due to OH being the weaker of the two options... your weaker hand goes under to get abit more bicep involvement and aid that much more in maintaining grip

I swap over/under hands after every set. In my late teens I used to do right hand under only and managed to develop a pretty clear postural imbalance - other shoulder was several centimeters lower. When I realized it I spent time lifting left hand under and it fixed the problem. I would not recommend anyone to deadlift witn mixed grip and not rotating.

I´d say that it´s not an issue if you train your back with other lifts as well.

If all of your back training is biased to the right or left side, you´ll be in trouble.

I pull right over , left under

but thats for maximum weight mostly,

a double overhand grip is a better idea , like a lot of people already said switching up grips or doing overhand is much better because you dont want your upper back to be unbalanced because youve been deadlifting right over , left under for years, switch things up, as well as grip width and Deadlifting styles
