honk
Yeah you will smoke a blue. And then it's only a small step to a G5...
Wayne
Yeah you will smoke a blue. And then it's only a small step to a G5... ← kev can perform this bend easily and can bend a blue like its nothing. i dunno about steel variance and all that junk but the 5'' hrs zinc that kev bent was way harder than a 5'' regular crs. i have also bent an official im blue nail and i find a 6'' plain hrs rod to be no easier, and a 6'' zinc coated rod is harder. the zinc coating must make a good difference. anyway, kev can bend a blue nail cut down to 5'', so how does that match up to a g5? we have yet to try them. honk
A G5 will be way easier than a 5'' blue especially the crush down. At least easier I suck a bars shorter than 6''. Edited December 28, 2005 by honk
TennisDude
I disagree. I think the G5 is harder on the kink, maybe easier on the crushdown because of its longer length. However, bolts like to spring back a little bit. The G5 is a great bend, good luck!
porky
A g5 is tougher than a 5'' blue. but once u bend a 5'' blue you know you are really close. the zinc plating doesnt effect the steel, it is probably just the zinc stuff u get is tuff stuff. the zinc plated stuff i buy is really easy, just like hrs. FrankyBoy
Good going on the sledges, Chris.
honk
Thanks Franky I think my wrists needed some time to adopt to the volume they get now from levering and bending. I the past I always focused either on sledgeing or bending but hitting both hard at the same time seems to work better (at least for bending).
