honk
I'd say first with leather.
DuTCH
I'd say towel
honk
I'd say towel ← Next time I get my hands on an uncut 6mm nail I'll kill it barehanded. All my 6mm nails are cut which makes them too short for barehanded bending. I feel a strong need to do this, cause a buddy of mine did so. He has very thick mitts from playing handball for more than one decade. Next bending session: saturday
TennisDude
barehanding = dumb.

TennisDude
Wow you are definitely going to get the red first...
porky
honk how come you wouldnt let leftside in because he bent g8;s but your bending pre kinked reds alrdy? and if your bending 2 prekinked reds in a workout im sure you could put away a fresh red
honk
The "/" means I didn't make the bend. I probably even couldn't bend a prekinked red when fit.

honk
I do it in my regular log, when you see it like that: 100kg x 3 110kg x 2 130kg / it can't be mistaken IMHO.
honk
18/12/2005 Bending warmup: 3x 6.5'' 6mm Nails 1 yellow then: 7'' 7.6mm Nail easier than last time failed on a 2nd 7.6mm nail broke a 6mm nail PR braced it though failed to break a 2nd 6mm nail Levering Levered around with some kind of wood sledge wit a thinn handle, a very light one don't know the weigth and don't have marks on the handle. I did frontlevers for higher reps (15, 12, 7 ,7) higher reps seem to work better with frontlevering for me.Then I did some slimstyle frontlevers.(6,6) I did backlevering for moderate reps (slegde too light for low reps) and I did static holds in the weaver stick position. I also did some sledge turning. I just noticed that I forgot to do chest crushes with grippers mmh tomorrow then or on next upperbody day. I think I'll stick with a thin handle for frontlevering a) because it feels better b) might have more carryover to bending cause the diameters of the handle I used and my leather padding are pretty identical. I'll try a 6.5'' 7.6mm nail next time or I'll try to get 5 7'' 7.6mm nails. Oh TennisDude were are thou?
honk
12/25/2005 Christmas-Bending warmup -3 6.5'' x 6mm nails - yellow workout -6.5'' x 7.6mm a mini wobble, was olny able to detect it with a microscpoe -7'' 5/16 CRS 50° prekink move it to 83° between to legs PR -5.5'' 60d (no head, no tip) Chest Crush RB 240N 3x, 2x, 1x That 5/16 CRS I was able to move a bit is said to have 90% of the strength a RED has. I was to exhausted to do any levering, will do it on wednesday. I worked a good 15 minutes on that 5/16 or longer. I will soon start benching again, my non existing chest is holding me back big time. porky
where the heck is mindoverwater also lol. i think you should look for new competitors. good bending. you have any grade 5's or grade 8s? maybe try a 7.5''x5/16'' crs, and just slightly pre kink it. and give that a go for fun next time. TennisDude
Who said we HAVE to write everything in here? I have a log, so is there really a use to write it in two places? Plus I haven't been having the best sessions lately...

Ok I'll have some G5 that are slightly kinked form franky's early DU days, I shorted them to 5.5'' and maybe I'll bend one next session. Problem with 5/16 CRS I only got a few 7'' bars I'll visit my welder next week to fix it but I dont now witch sort of CRS to get. I dont have any G8s, inch bolds longer than 3'' are rare to find in germany. Hey Wayne, tell mindovermatter to kick my ass. (and TD's as well) I mean he agreed to join the challenge. Oh, and thanks porky. Edited December 25, 2005 by honk
