FrankyBoy
Congrats for the RT-PR. If I remember correctly the old York-45s were about 3". 65kg doesn't sound bad but its hard to rate it if one doesn't know the plates. Why is it hard for you to do regular grip-work? I have my schedule and thats it.
Alexander
Congrats for the RT-PR. :bowThanks. If I remember correctly the old York-45s were about 3". 65kg doesn't sound bad but its hard to rate it if one doesn't know the plates. Why is it hard for you to do regular grip-work? I have my schedule and thats it. ← Well, it is hard to integrate my work with the grippers in my trainingsprogram;my arms are often already tired from deadlifting or working with the RT;so it is only possible to train with the grippers on Sunday(is it enough to do it only once a week?) Does someone know a different way to train the pinch- grip?
FrankyBoy
You might include grippers in your regular workout. Do them after or inbetween your squat sets e.g. That should work great. Avoid doing RT and grippers the same day. I'd shoot for grippers twice a week. You also can do grippers before your DL workouts. If DLs are getting to challenging for your hands then (i.e. after the Grippers) , just use straps (even if you hate them ). You can do the Pinch together with Gripper on the same day. But start with the Grippers. Alternatives for pinch training: - Blockweights are the choice no one. There are cheap options availabe. You might ask Burki or Flo where they found theirs. - Build you own pinch grip blocks with different widths. I have 3 of them made of wood - Use a Pinch machine in addition to your other pinch exercizes Hope that helps.
