Jedd Johnson
Dave has a good grip on him. he is coming to GGC this year. He is a dark horse for high placement. Great crush grip, and being a strongman competitor, has a support grip that rocks as well. Not to mention he slam dunks like an NBA pro! Great to see you've started a grip log, Dave. Keep it up. -Jedd-

I look up to you, Smitty, and Rick a lot and aspire to achieve a high level of grip strength as you guys do.

smitty
Dude, I can tell you one thing - you got heart man! That 15th rep on the squat was sick... For your farmers turn - it helps if you T-bone the front of the farmers (make them into a "V" - ie...push the front together) as you turn - it tightens your radius The stone was so metabolic man - breathing heavy - nice! Dave Lemanczyk
Thanks for the constant encouragement fellas and especially the tips. I am tired of being mediocre, I wan't to become a functional man. Todays' training session was VERY intense for me. I gave it all I had and that's all I can ask for. I bled some, sweat more, and threw up a little. All in all, a good day. Videos to come later bc I am still dizzy and don't have the time. Squats (RAW) 135,225,315,405X5, 455X2....472X1 Farmers Walk (RAW) 272X50' X 2 (Felt VERY strong here and fast. I held it for :30 on the last set) 225 stone (RAW) 1 set of 12 reps without letting the stone hit the floor. Continuous. 225 stone carry (RAW) 2X50' (Tough stuff, it brutalized my core) I got videos but I don't have the time right now to compress and upload them. Sometime this weekend. They are some intense videos man.

It was a really fun day, I just wish I had more time to get in one more event. I love training squats first. I need to bring in my stance a little bit though bc I am not hitting the depth I should be hitting with the wider stance. It has to be hip flexibility issues.
