This was the first time I ever tried a grade 5 reverse. I would like to reverse a grade 5 in IMPs relatively soon, and will continue to work this in, as long as my wrist holds up. Reverse doesn't seem to aggravate it too much, so I'm going to keep trying to improve in this style. I put on a light wrist wrap, and tried a 123 after the miss, and was able to get it OK. I think I'm going to try to use some type of wrist wrap/protection for things that could aggravate, or continue to cause pain. (I haven't been wearing it for bending, as it would defeat the purpose and feat, IMO; if I can't bend due to the pain, I go easier.) But, this is the second session with grippers that the set has been OK with the wrap. If it's similar to the really difficult stock (non-HRS) from a few months ago? I've been having trouble on the kink with my wrist, as it is painful through the motion regardless of how I position my hands. (This is over the thigh kink.) I might be able to successfully do a knee-kink (and avoid the wrist issue), but this has always aggravated my messed-up knees, so I've avoided it. I'll probably look into it though.
