Any news?By the way great job with the grippers, I hope I can cert the damn #3 someday :P Thanks man, you'll get that cert if you focus on that! About the cert..I don't know yet will it be approved or not. Well whatever the outcome, I'll do it as many times as it takes..plus I'm making progress at slow but steady pace, so it should be easier if I have to do it again. Still it would be nice to see if they accepted it or not.. I don't want to hear that in 2007 you have to cert because they can't decide.. Again, keep up the progress it's looking awesome

Teemu I
23.8.2006 Grippers What a crappy workout. I had BBE Choked at 30 mm this time. I will go back to 25 mm (or 27mm) next time, tried to do too much too fast. We'll see, maybe I just had a crappy day. #2 2x1 violent closures BBE choked at 30 mm R: Missed by 2 mm, Forced in L: Missed by 7mm, Forced in R: Missed by 2 mm L: Missed by 8 mm R: Missed by 2 mm L: Missed by 10 mm, crappy as hell. R: Missed by 2 mm L: Missed by 10 mm, even crappier That's enough of Elite for today. I also decided to do my BTR OC's with filed SM instead of #3 and skip negatives for today, as my forearms hurt like hell already. So this was a "light" day so to speak. BTR OC's, filed SM: 5x1, 5 secs each. Total: 11 crappy singles Thumbs shall be left alone for today, I did only rotations with dexterity balls after grippers. Teemu I
OK, here's the news, I just recieved an email from Mr. Strossen regarding my cert. It's not allowed, because the gripper although beeing unseasoned and unoiled and not one of my own wasn't pulled straight out of the package at the time of my cert attempt. So that's about it, I hope this makes things clear now. As for myself, it simply means that I will cert some time later this year and will be pounding away at grippers even harder than I have done so far. So it's only a delay for me. Mr. Strossen was extremely professional, polite and encouraging in his answer to me. I do respect his desicion and I do think this new policy is good. So what I do now is that turn my mindset from beeing a grip fanatic to beeing an absolute psycho when I train. Every single attempt I do will be with all the fury I can generate. Teemu I
28.8.2006: Test day Since I felt really good last time closing choked Elite from 30mm, I decided to remove hose clamp from the gripper and take a few attempt with parallel set. BB Elite MM-set: R: Closed, PR! Took this on video as well, but my hand was of camera during the close. L: Missed by 8 mm PR? R: Closed, PR! Here's the video. L: Missed by 10 mm R: Missed by 5 mm L: Missed by 10 mm That was enough for today, no juice left to grind decent negs or OC's. I decided to do some rotations with 1 kg iron shots and extensors with IM rubber bands, head to the gym and after that call it a day. lifesnotfair
You do short workouts, don't you? How long does it take you to finish? Congratuations on the BBE, that gripper has a cool name. :P
Teemu I
Normally, they aren't short. I take plenty of time to recover between attempts.

Teemu I
Uh Ohh!!Teemu is gonna get the bending bug!! Watch out steel!!! It is fun! I've been doing it earlier from time to time, but as I've been obsessed getting my gripper strength up I haven't done that much or hardly at all within last months. Actually that was the first time during the period I've kept log here. Still, I won't start doing it so much yet as it destroys my grip for the grippers! I don't actually know how on earth can I start doing anything other than grippers that seriously. Allthough I like everything else as well! One of my goals for this year was that Elite close, now that I've done it I want more. It's Super Elite before christmas now, I can't settle for less! I just want to kill those grippers now, anything else has to wait.
