ruffhans Posted August 2, 2004 Share Posted August 2, 2004 i bought a recumbant bike two months ago. for those wondering what one is, it is a bike that reclynes, you have most likely seen them on the road now and then. well, for one thing they provide an AWESOME workout! more so than a reguler bike. when going up hills you CANNOT stand up like on a normal bike, so a hill becomes very very hard. this gives the rider a leg workout like a 20 rep squat workout! my legs have jumped in size and definition. and in return have sparked my upper body for growth. if any of you are looking to get a HELL of a leg workout while going on a bike ride, look into a recumbant bike. stop by a local bike store and test ride one, be sure to try a hill! a steep hill! dave Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
