40 Lb Blob

Today I lifted the 40lb York blob to full deadlift with either hand. I owe it all to this guy

Deload System

After a few deloaded sets today I went to pick up the blob and put it away. Just to see how I was doing I tried it with just my right hand. I was so surprised when it came off the ground I dropped it and broke the deload platform! I moved it to the floor, dried it off as well as I could, then went for it. Full deadlift this time. Got it to full a few more time righty, then started lefty. I broke it off the ground a few times, rested a minute, then brought it up to full dead. I had tried countless techniques in the past year to lift this thing, and deloading brought it to me in only 5 weeks. As soon as I get my BLOB50, that thing's going on the new platform (once I repair it!) :rock

awesome job sqeeze! i been wondering if this systems works for awhile, and i see now it works beautifully. i will have to try this on my 40lber. hey jedd, didnt you say you made one for yourself out of bike iner-tubes? i got a ton of these things, so i wonder if they would work. i thought they would be a little loose, or tight depending on the pair i choose from.
