RSW
If it is 3/8ths it would have to be some easy steel if it's going to be humanly possib Soft 3/8" steel is much easier than the Red stock. I am sure that 3/8" can vary from easy to not humanly possible.
SqeezeMasterFlash
They could make it the same dimensions as a Red, only tempered
DAN PETERSON
IM has never used square stock and I don't think they should just make the bar thicker. It just seems ununiform to change it this late.
Clay Edgin
I picked up some 3/8" HRS yesterday and cut it to 7". Then I wrapped it up and tried to bend it over a thick 2" pipe. It was so hard that it was supporting my entire bodyweight (feet off the ground) and I was bouncing on it, only to produce about a 5 degree kink. Very difficult. I think the 3/8" steel should be any red bender's next goal.
SqeezeMasterFlash
Sounds like a pretty tough challenge. I've bent some 3/8" HRS before, but it was 3 ft long
