thomas straub
Saturday, April 24, 2004 Warmed up with #2 credit card rule. Then closed it again with the new rule. Then closed my filed #2 with the credit card rule. And finally i cooled down with a #2 no-set. My short term goal is to close a SM (super master) using the new rule. FrankyBoy
Hi Thomas, since my long-term goal is to close the IM #3 under the new rule I'm working especially towards that goal too: I cut myself a couple of PVC stripes of different widths: 1" to 2" in 1/4" steps. So you can either try to close a harder gripper with a credit card (as your short-term goal: from #2 to SM) or you can try to close your goal gripper or an inbetween gripper using wider and wider stripes (cards). Currently I'm using the RB210 and the SM and try to use wider stripes. Good Luck!
thomas straub
Hey Franky Closing the #3 under the new rules is also a goal of mine, but i don't think it'l be happening anytime soon. I like your idea i should try it, using the credit card i can only get 2reps on the #2. I might try the #3 tomorrow so ill keep ya posted Edited April 25, 2004 by thomas straub
thomas straub
Monday, April 26, 2004 #2 filed- Paper thin (new rule) #3- 4/10 (new rule) #2- 2reps (new rule) almost got 3 #2- Overcush Than i felt like ending it with another #2 close with the credit card. That's about it for today, wasn't a very good day.

FrankyBoy
Hi Thomas, how do you compare in difficulty a #2 no-set close against the #2 close according the new rule? Franky
thomas straub
Umm that a #2 no-set is a lot harder, i'd say you would need atleast 2 reps doing the new rule to no-set the #2.

thomas straub
Monday, May 10, 2004 Today was a crappy day, only 3reps on the #2 using the credit card rule, also i did a bit of attempts on the SM and failed horribly. So i decided to rip a phone book, which i did length wise. Hopefully i have a better training session next time
thomas straub
Todays training Did 15 singles on the #2, and a couple of no-sets. I've been having some pretty bad days in gripping for awhile, i've tried taking days off, warming my hands everything. Any suggestions?
