the swiss Posted April 12, 2004 Share Posted April 12, 2004 We met with Amaury last week for a great training day. We began with bending and that is what I wanted to talk about. Amaury is becoming extremely proficient at it. after a quick warm up, he bent a 230kg bar with ease. He then proceeded to bend a 247.5kg bar, 0.5' offcenter!!!! we did not have a camera, so no certification there, but believe me, it was an awesome sight. I see a red nail soon for this guy. As for me, I was glad to be able to certify on a 225 bar despite injury, and without hurting myself. a great day. next week's comp is going to be close. Its always great to see someone bending/gripping etc in action,especially when there at the top of there game Looks like the little Frenchman is gonna give the Swiss a run for his money at the next Swiss comp Glad you are both doing well at the bending ,i think the RED will be done by you both in the future,you have both come along way with hard work and determination.
