Ray Hansford Posted February 13, 2004 Share Posted February 13, 2004 Warm up-- Store gripper x 10 each hand #1 x 5 each hand #2 Training Right hand- 6 sets, 2-3 mins rest between 5mm, 2mm, closed, closed, closed, 5mm Left hand- 5mm each time Warm down- easy reps with #1 x 5 each hand Soak hands in cold water 5 mins. burkhardmacht Posted February 15, 2004 Share Posted February 15, 2004 Hi Ray! Your warm-up and cool down consists of a #1-set (5 reps) - no singles right? Perhaps you should do cheated reps with the #3 or an inbetween-gripper after warming up and 3 singles with the #2 and then return to the #2 (3 singles again). That worked well for me. At the moment I can close the #2 left- and right-handed (started with #1-close, after 6 weeks: #2close right). I always do cheated reps with a heavier gripper than my goal-gripper in my training.
