Has anybody ever gotten a Vulcan or RB adjustable gripper rated at each of the notches?

Just curious if anyone with a gripper rating set up has tried this just to see.

RB Adjustable (CPW)

Vulcan with the CROM spring (old Gripboard thread)

(just keep in mind that extension springs behave differently than torsion springs, the same RGC numbers are not really comparable)

It's perfectly fine. It's a forum; a place for discussion.

Maybe somebody else will chime in with their own ratings/experiences

I did this once with a Vulcan.  It was a homemade RGC device that most likely lacked any real consistency.  I filed a handle on mine afterwards and never revisited the rating.  Unfortunately I don't have the old information anymore.

You can find a poundage chart online - no idea if or how accurate it might be?
