Bending With Bare Hands

I was wondering what experienced benders can bend with bare hands. I have not been bending very long but bare handed bending seems crazy. I can bend an IM blue nail fairly easily wrapped up but can't touch a white bare handed.

What can you do bare handed?

I wasn't sure if there was much use in bare handed bending, but it is burlly. Also, I was wondering if experienced benders hands are just way tougher than mine.

I would rather see longer/thicker pieces of metal bent bare handed- long enough so that holes in the hands would not be an issue.

Just my opinion. Bill Pearl used to bend bare handed until the nail went INTO his hand.

I think I've read somewhere that Brookfield bent a whole box of nails in less than an hour. Anyone know if that was bare handed or wrapped. He would have to be really fast to wrap and bent that many.

Im not sure if those nails were bent bare handed but on benders web site is says that brookfield has conditioned his hands and can bend a 60 penny bare handed.

I've e-mailed JB a few times and he said he bends bare handed, but used a "loosely wrapped shop rag" to bend the box of 60D's.

Others have heard and seen different...
