What’s your highest RGC gripper close?

Out of curiosity what’s your highest RGC gripper close to date?

I’ll go first with my wide set #3.5 but unfortunately I can only assume by feel that it’s a 175+ RGC, but I can’t be sure..

I based it on my 160+ #3 feel..

So what’s yours?

Deep set PR is 144 years ago before I stopped gripping during residency/fellowship. MMS PR is 140. Current training progress points to both of these going up soon.

MMS: COC 3.5 rated 165 (in training; I have vid)

20mm block: COC 3 rated 156 (in comp)

CCS: COC 3 rated 153 (in training, no vid; best training vid of CCS was COC 3 rated 152, cert gripper was easy but rated only 142)

TNS: COC 2.5 rated 134 (in comp)

SB: 15 seconds on Jedd's COC 4 (in comp); but very low rating, 190s I think, I usually can't do more than about that time on a 3.5!

In a contest 175 with a block set

With a deep set 183

Working on getting back to that level and further after a 5 year hiatus. Currently probably high 160 to low 170 with a MMS based on my volume work.

I believe the highest contest rgc close was 224(done with a choked gripper to parallel)

http://www.az-grip.com/lists2.php?list=3&gender=1&event=9&country=all&measurement=1

If you want to see what the best RGC closes are so far check out this thread

I have a 3.5 rated 159.  I can close that one more often than the 165, but less impressive to say so ...
