Popping tendons in wrists problem

Bacterialbag

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I just started training wrists with a sledgehammer, but I have annoying pops in my wrist? Feels like the tendon gets stuck and then moves past something?

Is there any way to heal my wrists, make them more healthy so I can workout without popping tendons and clicks and knacks ?

I can't imagine this being healthy working out like this ?

Hope to find a solution!

Thanks

Depends, if it hurts there is a problem. If it doesn't hurt I think it's not something to worry about. "Popping" sounds, similar to when you "crack" your fingers is not dangerous or harmful.

One thing i've learned in grip, there is different types of pain.. Some you can work through and some requires rest, but only you know which is which...Try lower weight and higher reps, get blood flowing there.  Choke up on the sledge handle.

There are still a few things that make my wrists pop and creek a little but it doesn't hurt and normally it goes away after a few sets.. Make sure you stretch them too.
