mfin77
What’s a good weight to lift on blue fat grip hex bar dl?
BradProv
I've done a 555 lbs DL on a hex bar with blue fat grips... my training partners were around 430-450 lbs. For all of us, the hex with fat grips was ~110lbs better than our best Iromnind Axle deadlift

BradProv
Lol thanks guys. 441 is a comp PR on an IM axle. Have done 445 in training on another 60mm bar. If you saw the speed that Tom pulled 452.8 that day... haha came up like he had straps on. He is still Canadian axle king. Now just need to get my rolling handle numbers on the same level lol
BradProv
Yes, for me, the handles are not up to the same level, I feel. And yes, I agree a rolling handle may not be the best tool to get good at the Inch or the like, but they are in almost every grip comp haha.. I train so I can compete, so I better start learning handle gimmicks better lol Currently working on wrist strength to keep my fingers under handles just a touch more *shrug*
