"Bubba" is a 225 lb sand bag, did an outdoor strongman workout after a morning of mma sparring

Impressive! Challenging to breathe when bear hugging a sandbag- I cant imagine doing it with 225 lb!

Trying something new, breathing was different. More "sipping" breathes, but was really winded after. Been training more core & weighed in at 266 lbs this morning

Sounds pretty strong, Stepien!

... anyone I've helped with their bending is given the exact same advice for all styles of bending. Double overhand lagging? Hold the hit longer. Double underhand lagging? Hold the hit longer. Braced bending lagging? Hold the hit longer. - bencrush

It was tough, because breathing was restricted... It was fun may try it again this Saturday

Congratulacion!

That is close to carrying an injured or dead strongman. May have some use at strongman or other strength competitions.

I need to get my hands on a hefty sandbag someday too. In the meantime I've just been stacking plates on a loading pin and using that. I figure most of us on the grip board have loading pins....

Well got the idea from a strongman event & it did help with jiu jitsu controlling breathing
