Interesting, I've done this with benching but never overhead. For overhead I like doing waiter walks, like a one arm farmers walk but the dumbbell is held straight overhead with a vertical arm. Kind of wish there was a way to add the instability to a pull up or deadlift but I don't see how that would be practical

Saw something similar, but for overhead pressing from a friend of mine. Thought it may help when I was training more Olympic lifting.
