David_wigren
https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10153152285896100&pnref=story Pretty good for your grip. Was able to knock out two sets of 20. Didn't have time to go to the gym this weekend so I did these instead (there's always time to workout a minute here and a minute there is way better than doing nothing). If you're heavier it's probably gonna hit your grip even harder, and if you're lighter like me, you can just bang out more reps or hang for time.
JaredWith1R
Gonna campus up and down the back of those stairs next?
PeterSweden
Siiik. Gotta try this some time. Thinking of nailing a 2x4" to the wall and hanging from it like that.
David_wigren
Gonna campus up and down the back of those stairs next? Ha! I've felt tempted. Maybe next time! Siiik. Gotta try this some time. Thinking of nailing a 2x4" to the wall and hanging from it like that. Thank you Peter. It's a good way combining grip and pullup work. I mean, if you don't find pullups fun enough. Nailing a board to the wall would make for a handy place to train your grip!

JoshW
Just remembered i used to do these at my house! I actually prefered them to usual pullups. Think my best was around 20 at 66kg BW but now at 77kg i could probably only do 10! Good stuff david!
David_wigren
inpressive! Thank you Matt! Just remembered i used to do these at my house! I actually prefered them to usual pullups. Think my best was around 20 at 66kg BW but now at 77kg i could probably only do 10! Good stuff david! Thank you Josh. I enjoy trying new variations and new ways to do pullups. Doing ledge pullups and fat gripz pullups is just another way to keep things interesting. Also, I think after doing these for awhile, regular pullups are probably gonna feel real easy.
David_wigren
Improved a little by doing 21 and a half today!
David_wigren
Got 23 of them today before my grip went out. Could 30 of them be possible some day? That'd be pretty cool.
