Sam Radford Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I am interested in advancing my grip, currently all I have are hand grippers. I have a garage full of free weights at my parents house but no current grip training tools such as a loading pin, hub pinch gripper, pinch grip block, rolling thunder etc... My aim is to start purchasing these but can only afford one every few months. My place of work has a fabrication plant and was looking at getting them to knock us some up until I can buy the real thing! Can any members help with this if they have done something similar?? Ideally looking at a loading pin with a hub pinch gripper and rolling thunder style attachment. Thanks in advance Quote Current Stats: 5'10" ~200lbs [91kg] Hand Length: LH 7 7/8" RH 7 3/4" My Youtube Channel My Instagram Page"Anything worth having is worth working HARD for"

jvance Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I know we all have homemade stuff but discussing actual dimensions of products made by GB sponsors is not allowed unless mods correct me here. However most of us have made a few or more training tools and, speaking for me, I would be happy to share those ideas. As far as pinch blocks go the standard 2,3,&4" would work. For DIY thickbar you have your 1.9-2", 2.38", 2.5", and wider. Those are the common size implements used at comps or for feats. Quote Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/JVance0001?feature=mhee

Thanks for the info, I was in 2 minds wether or not to post this as I understand it can kinda go against what the GB sponsors have committed to develop. But was just looking for info regarding people's homemade grip training tools that I could use to make my own. Thanks for your help with this Quote Current Stats: 5'10" ~200lbs [91kg] Hand Length: LH 7 7/8" RH 7 3/4" My Youtube Channel My Instagram Page"Anything worth having is worth working HARD for"
