I haven't done high-rep benches in awhile and decided to test it a little today.  Usually, I do this with 225, but feeling a little run-down lately, I put 205 on instead.  20 wasn't too bad ... I might have gotten to 25 if I pushed it and had a spotter.

I just got my 2" V-bar from FBBC.  This thing is massive ... a pretty awesome piece of equipment!  This was the first time I ever tried pulling on the 2" V-bar too.  Definitely a challenge, but I think with some time with it, I will be able to get 200lbs. ... possibly 225.  With the bending portion of SJ3 coming up, I'm going to try to include more frequency with my bending, especially with BB wraps.  (I have never spent much time working with these, aside from DU, so I'm not expecting too much, but I'd like to acclimate a little better with them.)

I have done speed pulls a few times in the past, but nothing consistent.  I'm thinking about working in some speed pulls after squats, especially as I don't have much time during the week to do other movements I might otherwise give a shot.  For the last six months, I've been alternating sumo and conventional pulls; I will likely do the same thing with speed deadlifts.

Presses felt pretty strong today.  (Lately, they've been feeling weak, with 175-180 feeling like a max.)  Today, 175 and 185 felt good.  I was thinking about trying for 195 (which would have been a PR with the standard bar) but passed.  This was the first time I was able to get back-to-back sets of 7 with pull-ups too.  The reps were relatively strict, with a brief pause at the bottom.  Bodyweight is 198 right now.
