Glute-ham Raise Vs Natural Glute-ham

Trying to get some opinions on this; Is a Glute-ham worth it if you can already do a natural glute-ham raise? Are there any advantages of the machine if you can already do them off of the floor?

I read something about NGH only working the hamstrings at one insertion point? Aren't they firing from where the glute to ham ties in isometrically?
