yummy
I did overhead barbell presses and DO Deadlifts with them today. Pushing movements are slightly harder, really good burn, but pulling is off the chart. I could barely get 225 off the ground with the extremes, but I do sets of 5 with the regular fat gripz pretty easily. Looking forward to doing some rows, benches, and dumbbell stuff with them later in the week. I guess could help our strength in the extra wide position on some pulling movements but I like the fact the regular size you can still do most of the exercises for high reps to get more of a forearm pump. I'll wait to see what other people think of them though before I make the plunge.
Justin Matney
Yeah I didn't really need them. It was just an impulse buy. But they are pretty sweet and while I'll still be primarily using the originals, I'll definitely be utilizing the extremes for pushing movements and some low-weight pulls. Oh, and they sent me a nice 20oz Elite FTS blender bottle.

I have fat dumbbells, fat bar, PG exchangeable revolving handle, but for bench press I use Manus Grip, I like deeper bar range and feelings in forearms, I think 3 inches or maybe more, can be interesting! Justin Matney
Today I did barbell bench presses, incline dumbbell presses, and dumbbell rows with the extremes. The burn in my hands and forearms was noticeably more pronounced than with the originals. So far it seems like the extremes will be more practical with all pushing movements and some dumbbell pulls. Deadlifts just aren't practical, as I would probably be working out with under 200#, so I really wouldn't be building any kind of adequate core strength. Will definitely still be using the originals for barbell stuff. I think they're worth checking out.
