Hi All,

When I Wrote out My Goal’s over the Christmas Break I wasn’t sure if the World’s Strongest Hand’s was going to be in Australia this Year. I competed in last Year’s Melbourne WSH with Mixed result’s and I said if it was on in 2012 I would Devote Myself to a better Performance .I am actually Promoting the WSH 2012 in Melbourne which is the First Comp I am Promoting. I have 7 Month’s to Train for this Event and I have a lot of thing’s to Improve so on August 18th I am ready for Battle. Up until this My Main Goal was the Red Nail but DO Bending is Killing My Gripper’s. At the moment Gripper’s are My Weakness so I am going to back off the DO Bending until after the Comp. I am still going to Reverse Bend as this doesn’t Effect My Grip. And I want to Cert more Bend’s in Reverse on the TORQUE List. So for the Next 7 Month’s My Main Goal is Training for the WSH 2012. This includes 2 Hand Pinch, Gripper’s and Griptopz. Also when David announces the Event’s for the Comp I will Train for this also. But once the WSH is over I will go after the Red with Great Vengeance And Furious Anger icon_twisted.gif Below I will List the Goal’s leading up to the WSH.

1. No DO bending until the WSH is Over.

2. Concentrate on Reverse Bending For TORQUE

3. Work Hard on My Gripper/Vulcan Strength as this is My Weakness

4. Continue with My 3 Day a Week Full Body Training as this is Really Working for Me. I am getting Stronger Overall.

5. Work Hard on My 2 Hand Pinch

6. Continue Training Griptopz

7. Improve Rolling Thunder Number’s

8. Stay Healthy and Injury Free

Grip: After a Few Month's Chasing 20kg on the Shallow Hub I finally got 20.100kg icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif At WSH 2011 My Best on the Hub was 16.21kg! Very Happy with the Lift icon_biggrin.gif

A Couple of Week's ago I had a Moment of Madness and went into the Garage and Wrapped up a Red Nail. I think I Pushed a little Hard and might have Bruised a Bone or Muscle in My Right Palm. It has got worse over the Last week or so. Grip is Painful but Gripper's are Very Painful. Normal Training is Ok. I have been going Hard on Grip so will have the Next Week off Grip to let the Hand get better. Will still do Full Body Training but My Next Grip Session will be next Saturday.

Sorry to hear about the palm but it seems to be an inevitable part of bending eventually - come back stronger brother!

Thanks. It is just one of those Annoying Injury's. Hopefully the Week off will give it a chance to get better.

Thanks Ben. I am making slow but Steady Progress. I just have to bring My Half Penny & Stub number's up. I still have heap's to Work on. But Happy with the way thing's are going.
