daniel reinard
Simple, pinch whatever you can in any way you can. weight doesn't matter as long as you are getting a workout. Also crush grip and pinch grip don't equate well. My pinch is far ahead of my crush grip in certain aspects. And there are many ways to pinch and you will see what you are strong at and what needs work. Hold 5k plates together smooth side out, as many as you can (the purpose is to go wide). Hold two 10kg plates smooth side out with one hand (medium pinch). Try pinch lifting a 20kg plate by the center hub. Youtube all the ways people train pinch and try it. Often times people just try to pick up any odd objects they can find for training.
Cannon
Do you mean the muscle on the back of the hand that is between the thumb and index? I call it "Mount Pinch Muscle."
