daniel reinard Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 depends on the lift you're doing. What exercise? Also what is your goal? Quote Introduced to grip world 8/22/10
Malice Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 When I do timed holds I generally like to use a weight I can hold for about 10 seconds on the first hold and when I get to 15 seconds on the last hold I'll add a couple pounds. I generally do 4-5 holds with a minute or so rest between. On occassion at the end of a heavy workout I'll drop the weight by about 50% of the last set and hold it as long as possible. I don't really count the time but I'd say it's at least 20 seconds. Quote Russ Farver Mesa, Arizona My blog: http://thestrengthpit.blogspot.com
