BGally
I have never been able to comfortably rack the bar on my shoulders with a clean grip while doing front squats or cleans because of wrist discomfort. Has anyone had tight wrists like mine and was able to overcome this? Thanks, Bryan G
DanCottle
I think it just takes some time and a lot of stretching to get used to it.
MIGHTYSAXON
it does take stretching to get use to just keep your elbows up high and hands at a comfortable width.
tukkergrip
You can always try to catch the bar with only your fingertips while cleaning. For front squatting do the same thing. It pretty much keeps the wrist out of the question. Be carefull not to drop the bar though!! Anyway I don't have really unflexible wrist's, just a little, and I always get pumped/stretched wrist/forearms while doing cleans with catching them in the hands. If you keep doing them so your wrist's will strengthen and get more flexible. But it can injure them aswell. Try strechting and catching on fingertips. austinquach
My wrists were pretty inflexible. Doing front squats helps with figuring the best rack position. I rack the bar like the girl in the link; notice how her fingers angle out instead of down. Hope that helps http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ-vmfyW2urvEScyP-djITxztjgLI--WmCj3ck6bi6iIaNXFkl9
