strongman2332
Awesome stuff man! can I ask you one question.... With your warm ups, why start the #2? Just to save your strength when you reach the almighty 3?? My workout usually looks like: trainer 2sets of 10 no set 1 1set of 5 reps no set 1.5 1set of 5 reps no set 2 1set of 3 reps 2.5 6sets of 1 3 2sets of either partials or negatives Any suggestions would help! will be following your log like a hawk! ha good luck with your grip work! Terrygrip
Hey NJ yes, thats is the reason I start with the no.2 for warm ups. In all my strength training I do very little warm up. I've tried doing more but it has never done me anygood, if anything has made me feel more tired. To start with I would suggest trying the same, do as little warm up as possible. Try it for a few weeks and see if you make more progress. Friday 10th dec : Should clarify I train both hands , after warm up I do a single right then a single left. I will try and write it up better next time Grippers 5 x No 2 gripper Warm up (both hands) 3 x No 3 gripper close (right hand) 1 x No 3 gripper close left hand 2 x No 3 gripper attempts down to 3mm 5 x No 2.5 gripper closes (not reps, these are singles) Holle it up Dumbbell, Right hand deadlift 30kg x 1 , 35kg x 1, 40kg x 1, 35kg x 3reps Left hand deadlift 30kg x 1 , 35kg x 1, 40kg x 0 x 35kg x 2reps Wrist Plate curls strict reps warm up 10kg 30kg x 5 right hand 30kg x 1 left hand

strongman2332
Thanks man! Any reason why you are training one arm at a time instead of double overhand like the euro pinch set up?
Terrygrip
The main reason is I'm trying to get my hands as strong as possible. The way I look at it, training my pinch in that way makes them stronger. Also I can pinch more with two hands at the same time (90kg x 1) rather than separate hands total added together (left 35kg + right 40kg = 75kg). it feels more honest to me. Just like I train my thick bar (on the holle dumbbell) one had each time, rather than using a thick barbell and training both hands the same time. strongman2332
252kg double overhand?! Beast! As far as your explanation on why you train each hand separately, I completely understand!
