It's done : I'M CERTIFIED

I did it sunday february 2nd in front fo Gerry Rochon, a sports encyclopedia.

Another guy got certified with me. His name is Patrick Lemieux and he is a strongman. He close the gripper without wrapping his fingers around the handles. He puts one handle in his thumb pad at grab the other handle with his fingers straight. He then close the gripper with fingers straight, like a pinch grip. Unbelievable. He tried my #4 and came to 1/8 while holding the spring. He is VERY strong.

I tried Patrick's #3, a 1994 model with wider handles, and closed it. It is the same strength as mine. I also broke his #1 which is a lot easier than mine. The spring broke.

I can't wait to see my name on the list. :rock

Congrats Tou !!! A lot of hard work does pay off. :bow

Congratulations Tou,

I guess the Photo of you (and Patrick) will be in the next issue of MILO??

I think? You have described a friend of yours- that is very strong and lifts the front end of cars and such....and that he almost almost closed a no.4 a while back....Is this(Patrick) your friend that ...you have described in the past??

Or is this another Canadian monster? :cry

.A guy at the gym subscribes to Milo.I look forward to seeing the pics. :cool

Tou,

I knew you could do it!! You never gave up and always had confidence in yourself, believing you could do it! :happy That's the most important thing... determination. If you don't have that, you'll never do it. You're determination shows, and my hat is off to you, sir! :tongue

Patrick is not the guy I talked about. Patrick has a very strong grip btu his lifts don't match his size. He squats 600, bench 425 and deadlift 655 in full gear. Sure it's big but he looked like he could squat 800 and deadlift over 800.

My friend who deadlifts cars didn't train at all. He is just very strong, he always has been. With some technique tips, some chalk and a week of practice, he would smash the #3. I'll try to get him into it.
