Tou Posted February 3, 2003 Share Posted February 3, 2003 It's done : I'M CERTIFIED I did it sunday february 2nd in front fo Gerry Rochon, a sports encyclopedia. Another guy got certified with me. His name is Patrick Lemieux and he is a strongman. He close the gripper without wrapping his fingers around the handles. He puts one handle in his thumb pad at grab the other handle with his fingers straight. He then close the gripper with fingers straight, like a pinch grip. Unbelievable. He tried my #4 and came to 1/8 while holding the spring. He is VERY strong. I tried Patrick's #3, a 1994 model with wider handles, and closed it. It is the same strength as mine. I think that Tou would make #35 or #36 (I apologize if I'm wrong here) as far as those on the GripBoard that would now be certified. It won't be long before the CoC list hits 100.
