maestco
What is better for the grip, revolving or non revolving thick bars? I was going to get the apollons axle which is non revolving 2'' diameter bar.I've also seen the black iron strength thick bars. They have rotating sleeves. Which would be a better choice? cemery
For deadlifts , squats and pressing a non-revolving bar is fine and is cheaper. If you plan on olympic lifts like cleaning and snatching, a revolving bar would be better for your wrists, but much more expensive.

Volko Krull
No, non-revolving is more challenging since it wants to spin it's way out of your hand.
rico300zx
I think most use a nonrevolving, including those in the strongman sport. Its just more popular and nothing to damage or fly apart as well. Rico
