Hello,

I would like to know how do you think it is better to do the reps:

------1 rep pronation (P) 1 supination (S) - i.e. one smooth motion from P to S and back, and then again until you tire/finish as many reps as you have planned

------all reps of P, then all reps of S?

Thank you very much,

Mithril

I would choose the 2nd alternative.

I would choose the 2nd alternative.

Me too, for the simple reason that most people will be able to handle more weight in one direction (from supination to neutral). So why limit that movement to the amount of weight you can bring from pronation to neutral?

I'm for #1 I guess - I enjoy the nice back and forth of continuous motion and transition. I only do the second way as a "test" now and then. I take a single ended DB (a plate on a bar really) - set my arm on my knee and do it as a part of my Synergy Forearms routine that I have done for close to 30 years now.
