BigJan85
A lifting partner of mine started doing 20 reps squats recently and has been complaining about his hands falling asleep about 2/3 of the way through. Could this be a flexibility issue or is it something else? Any incite would be appreciated.
andurniat
My guess is flexibility in the shoulders. I have the same problem with 20 rep or other long sets with the bar on my back.
JohanB
It could be lot of things like low flexibility i shoulders, narrow grip and big arms, low bar style and lots of pressure on the wrists, incorrect positioning of the elbows and so forth. Andy Ruse
I get the same thing. As long as you can maintain bar position, just suck it up and shake your arms out when the set is over.
