Magnusson Attempts 488kg Raw Deadlift

He moved 1076lbs, possibly hovered it, without the use of a suit in a dimly lit pub after warming up with over 400kg. Magnusson is looking strong.

Apparently, and I have no idea the credibility of the source, assume zero, Benni was getting some good air under 1000+ raw during his training for the '08 Arnold. That was the Arnold where he pulled 500kg.

Now all he needs to do is find a sport where there are reliable standards for hovering weight, and he'll be all right.

I'm with Rex, using vbar rules he killed that shite!

I disagree. Couldn't tell from that angle if it was a legal 2". I need to find a bar like that. :D

Not trying to troll but it doesn't look like the bar left the ground, more like took the "slack" ( :yikes ) out of the bar and rolled a bit. He is of course without a doubt very strong, I'm just saying. Trying that specific weight says to me that he's either moved it before or he thought he could do something with it though :whacked

I've been wondering when what he's been up to. I'm interested in seeing what he can do in a meet (raw and equipped).

i dont think it rly hovered. with almost 500 kg on that bar it bent like **** thats why it looks like it hovered. cant wait to see him at the andy bolton challenge next year. if him, and also that other guy konstanoivo or whatever his name is go, it will be one of the msot exciting events ever!
