acorn
So, what's the prize for one of these? Dont know yet. Will likely post details on my site once the design is ready for prime time. Here is a video of the next prototype with a better lightup assembly completed http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?autocom...si&img=8897 - Aaron
John Eaton
That is a sweet setup that Aaron designed
gumpster
That is sweet! I thought about something like that before but the idea I had in mind wasn't nearly as pretty. The second video looks great!

bdckr
Very cool I don't doubt it... even to write out the design on a piece of paper, how you set it up and the basic idea of it then seal it in an envelope and mail it to yourself. Wouldn't the date delivered stamp without the thing being opened be a form of copy writing of an idea? *shrug*Aaron, get that thing patented!!!! Yes, a poor mans patent/copyright, they hold up in court because its proof that you had the idea first. Do that at least then work on a full patent if you intend to carry this out to its full extent. Very awesome idea Aaron!! I always knew this kind of thing would be cool but I don't have the technical skills like you I'm not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure the poor man's copyright/patent doesn't work: http://www.snopes.com/legal/postmark.asp, http://www.apatentblog.com/2007_02_01_archive.html From the US patent office: http://www.uspto.gov/web/patents/howtopat.htm

I'll give him a call and see what he thinks. - Aaron
Kormaz
It's a really nice idea, would be good if you got it patented
acorn
I did a quick patent search and found one from 25 yrs ago that is similiar enough in theory and implementation that I dont think I would be granted a patent. good idea to check though. - Aaron
naturalstrength
Patents for "Mighty Mend", "Hercules Hooks", Oxyclean", "Jack Lalanne Juicer", etc. will make you LOTS of money. Unfortunately, grip impliments will NOT
