Bill Piche
I can capture it for publishing on the web. Most people can get ahold of a friend who has a camcorder. So, why not show at least a video for proof of a record or near record feat of grip strength? Send the video (I can do 8mm, 8mm digital, VHS) to: Cyberpump! P.O. Sybersnott
If ANYONE lives in the metro-Atlanta, GA area, give me a shout! I can travel and I have a camcorder loaded with lots of tape. Just let me know!
3Crusher
'If I can find a Cam?" Come on Tommy, you're disappointing us. We really want to see those 10 reps.
mobsterone
Here's what I'll be using in the new year - pocket money allowing. 'Pocket DV2 camcorder' @ £99.95 form www.firebox.com. It says on the blurb I tore out of a mag that it has a 512mb compact flash card and will take HI-Quality 1280x1024 (screen size??) stills as well as 320x340 (1/4screen size) video for up to 4 hours. For what we do it seems ideal.
Big Steve
It is nice to set goals Tommy! A lot if people have none. Let God Bless as He may. Samson killed a 1000 men with a jaw bone of a mule in one day . Not by power or might but by the spirit of God!!!!!!!!! May God give you the desires of your heart. amaury
Excellent initiative Wannagrip! Let's see who is a fake. Moreover i think all the non-americans are tired of the "i know this guy who knows John Doe from the little village near X City and hey let me tell you he is the real deal". We don't know any John Doe, we don't know any X City, we just want videos I'll certainly send a video when i close my #3 (just hope i m able to do it some day). Jonathan McMillan
Personally I don't care about video for proof, I just think it's great to watch -very inspiring! Apparently my girlfriend's parents have a camcorder so can we send in footage even if it's far...FAR from record attempts Jon@han
3Crusher
amaury, Let's not make this an American/non-American thing, as we have been down that road before. The brotherhood of the Iron Game crosses geographical boundaries, so let's not go there again, as it is not appreciated. As far as "hoping" you will close the #3 some day, hoping is not enough, you have to want to do it. You have to change your attitude first, or you have been defeated before you even start. Just my two cents.
OldGuy
"Let's see who is a fake." So amaury, you have decided that anyone who does not submit videos is a fake. The video being the proof. No video provided means fakery. How do you see who is a fake unless the video itself is clearly a fake? No video at all cannot be proof of faking. amaury
Oldguy: Offcourse !! But with a video i'll just be convinced "beyond reasonable doubt". A pic is good too. 3crusher: don't worry, i'll go no further Amaury.
Vinnie
I don't know why I looked at this post in the first place, but it is kind of cute to see the state of tech 20 years ago: people musing about meeting in other cities to do a vid on their camcorder, etc. And now the opposite is true: video is so easy to make that we worry it's faked! Any of you original posters/commenters still active on here?
