Guest Bullitt
Took 3 Super Cissus Rx last night, 2 ibuprofin, two fish oil, and did a warm epsom salts soak. 3 Cissus, 2 fish oil, and 2 ibu this morning. Feels a ton better already. We'll see how it does with squats tonight. Edited February 3, 2010 by Bullitt

Guest Bullitt
Thanks guys. Still some form issues to work out, but I'm getting there. Elbow isn't feeling much better. Shoveling all the snow today didn't help it much. I may just have to play through the pain. Resting it isn't helping.
Guest Bullitt
Decided to put the knee sleeves on my elbows to keep them warm and do some benching. No spotter, so i didn't push it. barX20 95X10 135X5 225X9 (might have had 1 more in me, but wasn't going to risk it) 135X25 (same here. Left a couple in the tank) As long as I didn't squeeze the bar too hard, the elbow didn't kill me.

cwdutton
Thanks Chris. Only 20 reps behind you. Watch out! HAHAHA With your out of this world intensity, I'm gonna have to try for 60 to set the bar a bit higher maybe....
Guest Bullitt
HAHAHA Did a killer back workout today followed by squats: Back: 60 minutes of shoveling the car out from under the 3' of snow the blizzard dumped on it. Then Squats (didn't push weight as my back was already tired from the shoveling. Just worked on getting back & getting deep. These felt much better as i wore my orthotics with the oly shoes. I had gotten used to wearing the orthotics when I was squatting in my boots. Really seemed to help my balance.): barX10 135X8 165X8 225X3 225X3 225X3

Guest Bullitt
Last night... Squats and rack pulls: Squats (Widened my stance a bit and pointed toes out more. Helped a lot with depth): 135X8 185X5 225X3 265X1 - didn't like depth so did a second single with 265. 265X1 300X1 300X1 300X1 Rack pulls from below the knees: 225X5 315X3 405X1 455X1

Guest Bullitt
Snowed in by the blizzard so I did some ME and DE benching at home. Bench: barX15 135X8 185X5 235X1 275X1 (This felt really light. Much easier than last time. Definitely getting stronger.) 280Xmiss (Had I done this instead of the 275 it would have went easy. Didn't wait long enough either.) DE (Used Chris Dutton's bands - 90lbs at bottom/180lbs at top): 65+bandsX3 95+bandsX3 135+bandsX3

Those speed workouts will help a ton also! Give it a couple more weeks on those, and next week don't do any flat bench. Switch it up to 3 board presses or floor presses to mix it up! Great job! Guest Bullitt
Thanks Chris and Manthos! Squats are definitely helping me feel stronger overall and Chris has helped a lot with my bench. Maybe someday i won't be the weakest person on the board.
