Two Hands Anyhow Lifts

It's a lot easier to get the movement down if you use two kettlebells. I don't think it matters much in the overall considering it is called an 'anyhow' lift... but you should try doing a bicep curl at the bottom and stand up with it to get the weight... it's a lot tougher for the stand-up and you get a lot more arm into it. Again though, I do it with kettlebells which is infinitely easier than balancing the barbell overhead.

Wow, that looks tough :blink Keeping your balance seems like a killer.

Yeah the balance is tough. The benefits from this for shoulder stabilization should be plentiful.

I've done windmills with kb's a plenty and the balancing is way different with the bar. I now know that this movement would be hard with any type of heavy implement. I'am going to continue to use a bar and switch hands to hit the stabilizers hard. I don't know if I could of racked the kb at the bottom or not. I might try it next week. Thanks.

Don't know if you're interested in checking it out but this is where I got the form for the lift...
