mattvod Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 It's a lot easier to get the movement down if you use two kettlebells. I don't think it matters much in the overall considering it is called an 'anyhow' lift... but you should try doing a bicep curl at the bottom and stand up with it to get the weight... it's a lot tougher for the stand-up and you get a lot more arm into it. Again though, I do it with kettlebells which is infinitely easier than balancing the barbell overhead. Quote

I now know that this movement would be hard with any type of heavy implement. I'am going to continue to use a bar and switch hands to hit the stabilizers hard. I don't know if I could of racked the kb at the bottom or not. I might try it next week. Thanks. Quote
