The Natural Posted March 1, 2009 Share Posted March 1, 2009 Today I went down and rooted on some friends who were competing in the NAS strongman competition held today at Metroflex. Brandon Ford won the superheavy division. Standout performances of his include 260x10 on the 12" log press and 14 flips in 75 seconds with a 700 pound tire. Brian Dobson walked up to me during the first event. "Rex, we're using your farmer's walk handles. I just assumed it was okay with you. Is it?" "Absolutely." Across the top of one of my handles, I have a bumper sticker that I won at the GGC '08: "Have you trained your grip today?"
