Jeff Parker
for the grip records, 200+ wrist curl only has the following on it. Joe Roark Gary Brown Sam Solomi Paul Knight Is this really that hard or are there many here that have done it but just have not sent in a video? CoC#3
Hard but doable. I did it without any specific training. If a full ROM wrist curl is ever an event in competition i'll start training for it and in that case i would say 300# is possible.
The Mac
Also add in that very few have probably put themselves forward for it - it is not one of the highest profile lists on the board.
CoC#3
Sure. Nearly all the big boys on here could probably do it without any direct training.

Everyone turns into an expert on how wrist curls should be performed and the vids get nitpicked so I think that hurts the number submitted. Matt Brouse
I didn't even know there was a 200+ wrist curl list. Hit 225 for 5 the other day. Maybe I'll try and get the camera rolling the next time I do them. The heavier wrist curl vids are a pretty far cry from what we tend to think of when we think of wrist curls. Whatever. AP
This is one of the feats I'm going to hit this year, not sure if I'll get it on video though. I think a lot of people have done this one or are capable of doing it.
Jeff Parker
kinda what I was thinking. I did 205 for 3 very strict the other day. I think I am going to wait until I get to 250+ and then send it in.

lifesnotfair
I heard that once Patrick (nickname patrick in here) submitted a 280# wrist curl where he even finger-rolled the bar a little bit, but it was declined because of darkness. Is this video still around? I'd love to see it.
Magnus
Are we discussing barbell or dumbbell, here? I heard that once Patrick (nickname patrick in here) submitted a 280# wrist curl where he even finger-rolled the bar a little bit, but it was declined because of darkness. Is this video still around? I'd love to see it. Pffff, I don't know if I'd trust anybody an obscure alias like that

vikingsrule92
"1. An Olympic bar should be used. 2. The lifter may start the lift with the bar in any position throughout his/her ROM. but the bar must dip below parallel and then be lifted to full lockout. 3. Forearms should remain level throughout the lift. 4. Forearms may be placed over knees or over a pad/bench. 5. If forearms are placed over knees than feet must stay flat on floor. 6. A video or witness are needed for proof" http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?showtopic=5294
matthcarl
I didn't know there was a list for this either. I might be kidding myself, but it doesn't seem like it should be that hard with a little training.

Matt Brouse
That one doesn't meet the requirement for this particular cert. but it's good work, nonetheless.
