My hands were a little sore today for some reason so I did a light workout:

Grippers

-BBSA x 10 MMS singles

Pinch

-5 10s x 10 (both hands)

-25lb blob x 50

Hub Lift

-25 x 30 sec (both hands)

Grippers

-#2 x 5 mms singles

-BBSA x 15 mms singles

I did the 25lb blob lifts similar to how Wade did his blob x 103. Once I get to 100 reps I'm going to try the same with the 35lb blob. It's been a while since I've done any hub lifting so I decided to see where I'm at. Once I can do 25lbs for 1 minute I'll try 35lbs.

My pinch strength is improving, but my crush strength is decreasing (not sure why).

  • 2 weeks later...

My grip training is on hold for a little while because I grabbed the handle of a hot grill pan yesterday with my bare hand.

My hand (the one I burned) is 100% now. I'm using the technique that Adam uses to tear cards. I'm hoping to do a full deck in the next couple of months.

Card Tearing

-13 cards

-26 cards x 2

-30 cards

-56 cards PR

-56 cards (lengthwise)

I was finally able to tear a whole deck using the technique that Adam uses. I also managed to tear quite of bit of skin. When the skin heals I get this on video.

56 cards:

This is the second time I've done a deck like this. In a few days I'll give this a try with a Bee or Bicycle deck.

Nice tear, Kevin !! It looks like you can tear a deck somewhat harder than that and soon you will .. neilkaz ..

Good job on the deck of cards! :rock You got it a lot quicker than you thought (meaning the feat didn't take months).
