mightyjoe
Bob, do you really think Tim beats John or were you just joking around? Josh I believe Bob is using this as a psychological technique on John. Mighty Joe

Robert Bishop
Paul Walther vs. Dave Chaffee Right HandedI have not heard of Dave Chaffee until recently when he beat Tom Taylor in an overall a few months back. This would be another good one. If the conditions are made to mimic an arm wrestling practice, I would say Paul Walther, 6-0, easily. However, given that this is an actual tournament, maybe 5-1 or 4-2 Paul? Let me update this prediction - I just spoke with a guy who said Dave Chaffee is an absolute monster - probably only beatable by a small handful of pullers in North America right now - 6-0 or 5-1, in Dave's favor. all i can tell you is that at the Ohio St he looked good and didnt loose a match but he didnt pull the overalls so i didnt get the chance to test him . My bet is Dave wins

G-Man
Based on the way Tom Nelson pulled - winning his supermatch AND four classes - he might be an elite puller now - in that Michael Todd-Ron Bath Category. I was perhaps most surprised with Frank Hirst - I had no idea he was THAT good. It's almost intimidating, all these layers of talent in a sport that essentially has no money. Here are the final results from the NE Board: Womens openCindy Looney Chantel Leduc Brandy Stark 154 Left Norm Devio Ryan Flahery Derrick Mattera 171 Left Ron Klemba Jeremy Durfee Justin Rhodes Jon Vinakoor 209 Left Mike Selearis Angel Cosme Ron Ermini Chris Kaufman 231 Left Tom Nelson Eric Roussin Rob Vigeant Jr. Jim Bryan +++ Left Tom Nelson Shawn Lattimer Eric Dwyer Ian Carnegie 0-154 Right Norm Devio Kris Mikels Dave Mcewin 171 Right Ron Klemba Jon Vinakoor Justin Rhodes Mike Shalhoub 209 Right Bill Sinks Mike Selearis Randy Weaver Ron Ermini 231 Right Tom Nelson Frank Hirst Jim Bryan Paul Walther +++ Right Tom Nelson John Shaw Shawn Lattimer Ian Carnegie We had 100 entrants from 19 states and Canada. craigzooka
Josh,The way Johns wrist was felling a few weeks ago I thought it would be close. John definately did not make it look easy in the first match. But I think that he recovered in between matches much better than Tim which allowed him to make the second match look a little easier and totally dominate in the third match.
