Matt Brouse
It's stuff like this that makes me want to up the ante for my own goals. In the company I tend keep, that was nothing outrageous. Commonplace in some cases. That's what keeps a guy going. Thanks gentlemen, obliged.

climber511
Excellent work Matt! I never realized you had such nice Oly technique. And you're certainly right about the company you keep. It's too easy to be the strongest guy in your gym when you workout by yourself all the time. I'd love to find a training partner to push me. Again - nice job - now on to 400# Edited December 20, 2008 by climber511
Matt Brouse
It's too easy to be the strongest guy in your gym when you workout by yourself all the time. Sometimes it's gotta just be a matter of getting out and training with guys every once in a while. Just to keep your accomplishments in perspective. I enjoy training by myself and I use competitions to keep things in perspective but I'd still like a training partner once in a while. timiacobucci
Dude...you clean and press 300 lbs easier than i do 150. Dude! POWER CLEAN at that! You were at like a quarter squat when you caught that 140kg. At the height you pulled that weight you could snatch it. It's not like you couldn't handle it once racked overhead obviously. I believe you are focusing mainly on strongman, but I have to ask if you ever full squat clean or snatch? Because I believe you could easily take that same 160kg from the ground if you squat cleaned it.
