Has anyone ever checked out the routine in the book Keys to Progress by John Maccullum. Is it overtraining? Would it be better to modify it. I have tried it and it leaves me sore.

I've read the book but haven't tried the program. He basically says that you cannot overtrain the grip, If I remember correctly.

I imagine you'll just have to adjust according to your own limits. I am a newbie to grip training so take this with a grain of salt but from my reading here it seems as though some people train their grip almost constantly and others do so a couple of times a week. So clearly YMMV.
