Big Jan's Grip And Strength Training

I decided to start posting my workouts on here for some feedback and motivation to hit my goals. I'm pretty interested in functional strength for MMA and strongman feats so a good amount of my work will be geared towards these things. This is the workout I just finished.

16# Sledge lever-warm up with hand choked up on handle then did 5 full range singles with each hand

2 Hand Pinch- 10x90, 8x120, 8x120, 3x150 3x150 1x160 1x165 1x165

1 Hand DL on Oly Bar- right hand 185x5, 225x3, 245x1, 255x1, 255x1, 260x1, 265xfail

left hand 185x5, 225x3, 245x1, 255x1, 255xfail 245x1, 250xfail

Dennis Rogers wrist curls (learned from Adam's youtube vid)- 62.5# (extra 2.5# on one side) 4x8 R+L hands

Deadlift- 10x135, 10x225, 10x225, 10x315, 5x365, 5x365, 3x405, 3x405, 1x455, 1x475, 1x495, 1x500(barely)

Then I messed with some card tearing...I can't tear a full deck of Bikes yet so I did a tear with 35 cards and one with 42 cards. My hands were pretty dead after this so I stopped there

Went out for a mid-paced 5 miler today. It started sleeting on the last mile of the run which made it suck pretty bad. I then did some speed jump rope work and beat on the heavy bag for 5 rounds of 3 minutes a piece. To finish it off I did some shin conditioning on pole in my basement.
